Nonprofits also need the systems, processes, and organizational capacity to manage funding effectively and sustain impact over time.Over the past 13+ years, I have worked in nonprofit grants, finance, and operations, helping organizations secure and manage funding while strengthening compliance, reporting, internal controls, and organizational effectiveness. Through that experience, I saw a growing need for practical support that goes beyond grant writing alone.As a Certified Grant Professional (GPC), I founded Walk & Talk Grants to help nonprofits build grant readiness, strengthen grants management systems, and develop sustainable funding strategies. My goal is simple: help organizations secure, manage, and sustain funding with confidence.In addition to managing grant-funded programs, I have served as a grant reviewer, advisory board member, and presenter for nonprofit, academic, and government initiatives. These experiences provide a unique perspective on what funders, reviewers, and stakeholders look for in successful grant-funded programs and organizational capacity.Whether supporting a first-time applicant or an established organization, I believe strong grants management is about more than compliance—it's about building systems that help organizations grow, serve their communities effectively, and achieve lasting impact.
